Is cloud storage really enough for archiving contracts?

Post by BessicaOuin »

I’ve been using cloud drives for everything, but recently a partner suggested that online fax might be more secure for archiving sensitive contracts. I’m not sure which way is better long-term. Has anyone compared both?

I actually went through the same dilemma when organizing my company’s archives. Cloud storage is super convenient — quick access anywhere, easy sharing, and plenty of integrations. But when it came to contracts and legal paperwork, I realized some industries still view fax as more reliable. Reading through comparisons on https://www.edp-award.com/ helped me understand the strengths of each. For everyday collaboration, cloud storage wins hands down. For long-term sensitive documents, fax archiving provides that extra layer of compliance. My final solution was to use both — cloud for daily work, fax archiving for key agreements. That balance works perfectly, and I don’t have to worry about losing important files or facing compliance issues.
