See the clinic information page, with registration link.
This is our a 2-day clinic weekend in mid-July, focused on practice in Class II whitewater. It is held on the Deerfield River in Charlemont, MA. (The Deerfield gets dam release flow periodically throughout the summer.) If you're a novice whitewater paddler, or an intermediate whitewater paddler looking to resume paddling after a hiatus or just get wet during a dry summer, please consider signing up! Note that the clinic runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on each of the two days (Saturday, Sunday).
For more information, contact John Atherton at JohnjAtherton@comcast.net.
NOTE: The Deerfield River watershed was running short of water near the end of May, but it has received quite a bit of rain since then, with more in the forecast. There should be sufficient water for the standard dam releases on the Fife Brook section on July 10 and 11.
