Obviously there are local and regional variations, but the data on Matt Parrilla's Mount Mansfield Snow Station page indicate that we lagging substantially compared to an average season.

The western side of the state has been getting light snow for the past couple of days, which appears to be largely lake effect precipitation, with a north wind and prevailing temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.

Hopefully the picture will change considerably in the next few weeks.
