I'm thinking of an 11:00 or 12:00 meet time to do something. The Mad (Upper or Lower) and New Haven seem like sure bets, with a small chance that a Mad tributary will be runnable (Mill Brook, Shepard Brook). A big water run on the Lower Lamoille is an option, but the NB Lamoille and Gihon will probably still be too high, unless you're a Class 5 boater. (I've only been on the Gihon once, so I'm not leading anything there.) Of course the Lower Mad will be running well into next week.

Given how high the Winooski is tonight, the Huntington should be juicy, and maybe too high. It was in the trees at Dugway Road today.

The Hancock Branch (White River trib along Route 125) is something I'd like to do again, but it will probably be too low, with the White now at 6,830 cfs and dropping. Still, it might be worth checking out. I liked it last April when Mike Beers led me down. It reminded me of the Lower New Haven. (We continued on the White down to the USFS ranger station in Rochester.)

Any other ideas?
