I ran it at 2500 a couple of years ago. There were a lot of reaction waves off the walls so it was quite swirly. I was in my playboat and got flipped and swam; toward the end I got sucked down and deep but flushed out. The walls are a bit undercut but the water is not pushing you there. I think it's pretty straightforward even at that level but there are definitely some waves and swirls that could knock someone over.
Dog Team Falls are great at 150cfs. It's an easy setup and clean landing; quite a rush for a Class II paddler but a great introduction to waterfalls. Even if you run the gorge I'd stop over at the falls for some park and boof. Easy carry up to do multiple runs.
