This Wednesday's trip was supposed to be on the Lower New Haven, but the river has insufficient water for that section (at least until later this week).
The Mad's gauge is currently at 1,390 cfs. 1,100 cfs is enough for the Upper Mad, but it may not hold through tomorrow afternoon.* If not, we'll do the Lower Mad, which will have plenty of water. (The banks should also be largely clear of ice, since the Mad exceeded flood stage on Monday.)
(* There is potential for significant snowmelt tomorrow, due to sunny weather and warmer temperatures.)
