Here is the original message board post from last year, by Kevin Ryan (of Montpelier). Note that they apparently took out at Munger Street in New Haven Mills , which is less than 0.5 miles downstream of the Route 116 bridge I'm referring to (by Sycamore Park). I've CCed Kevin, who may be able to pin down the strainer in which the boat was pinned. I'm guessing it was upstream of the bridge.
