I drove to last night's pool session at NVU-Johnson via I-89, Route 104A, and Route 104 to 15. That gave me a good chance to look at various sections of the Lamoille River. It's a whole different world up there. There is a lot of snow on the ground, and much of the Lamoille remains ice-covered. In East Georgia, Lake Arrowhead is solidly frozen over, and Five Chutes doesn't appear to be runnable.

I got a look at the Gihon in Johnson, and it is pretty much ice-covered as well. I imagine the North Branch of the Lamoille is similar, although I didn't take a side trip up Route 109 to find out. I'd guess the same applies to the Browns in Fairfax and in Westford. Maybe somebody who lives up that way could check it out.
