Max arrived early and did a solo run, and met me at the takeout at ~12:45 pm. After I got geared up (in the rain) we set shuttle and did our first run. The level was about 2 feet on the bridge gauge at that point.
By the time we got back to the school for our second run the rain had largely changed to snow. It finished the transition while we were on the river. The level was rising slowly; the gauge was a few inches over 2 feet by the time we finished, and the drops definitely felt juicier.
I'm guessing the NBL's watershed has frozen up significantly overnight, but other things are running (e.g., Mad at 786, New Haven at 710, White at 3,700). There is lots of snow up in the mountains, so the next significant thaw should really get things going.
