Patagonia's Blue Heart: The Fight for Europe's Last Wild Rivers

Switchback Brewing Co.
160 Flynn Avenue, Burlington, Vermont 05401

Blue Heart follows the fight for the last wild rivers in Europe. The Balkan region—diverse in cultures, languages and history—is home to the healthiest rivers in Europe, including the only undammed river on the continent. But across the region, 3,000 hydropower dams and diversions are being proposed or built, threatening irreversible damage to the environment, wildlife and local communities. The film highlights the activists banding together to save the blue heart of Europe and features a beautiful score from musician Andrew Bird.

Free but $5 suggested donation to the Lake Champlain Land Trust at the door for those who'd like to contribute. Limited seating is available so be sure to get there early!
