John, Tony, and I got on the Lower Mad just after 5:30 pm at a nice level of 361 cfs. It was dropping, but stayed above 345 during our time on the river.

A number of rivers responded unexpectedly well to the rain on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Unfortunately the forecast indicates that we have a full week of daytime temperatures near or above 90° F coming up, with only a modest chance of scattered thunderstorms. That will undo the benefits of this week's rainfall, and then some. Let's hope the forecast isn't entirely accurate.
