The Vermont Paddlers Club

Hello Paddlers,

I am 31, never have I ever WW paddled, fairly big guy, with a strong interest in learning how to maneuver moving water.  I am putting it out there that I am looking for whatever used gear that people may be able to pass down at a fair rate, so far I've got nothing, yikes!

I am signed up for the Novice Paddle Clinic at Waterbury Rez next weekend.  Then for the Intermediate one in July.  Even though the Novice clinic next week has some gear available I was trying to go with something other than empty hands.  I am looking in to some shops, etc, but like most fun sports it's expensive.  Please let me know if you have any gear, or can point me in the right direction.
