Thanks for the responses. I am able to make educated guesses based on the AW page's recommendations for whitewater levels and that is usually how I go about figuring it out. An example of what I'm thinking is that when the Sheldon Spring rapid on the Missisquoi is below the recommended level, the rest of the river is probably canoeable, but at what level? It seems like the information would be out there, but guidebooks (like the one Steve mentioned) often don't address it, nor have I found an online resource.
