subject 15 boaters showed up!

Wow. And that's at 36° F on a cloudy day, with light snow flurries falling by the end of the run.

One of us (Sarah) had to get off the river early when she realized the large group would be moving too slowly for a deadline she had to meet.

The count of 15 includes 3 or 4 UVM Kayak Club members who showed up at about the same time. It also included an enthusiastic 16-year-old invited by Sarah. She came with her mom, who hiked the banks and took photos.
