Leadership Opportunities

Leadership opportunities abound in volunteer organizations. When you step forward to be a VPC officer, you'll be given a chance to develop new/better people skills and management skills, and most importantly you'll meet many others who also share your love of paddling!

The 7 elected club officers each have specific roles and responsibilities, but must work as a team to be sure that things get done. Every other fall ('13, '15, etc.) the VPC elects new officers for 2 years terms.

They, in turn, depend on the volunteer efforts of rank-and-file members to make VPC the foremost whitewater paddling organization in Vermont, for over a quarter century.

See Who's Who in the VPC for officer contact information, and see the other links at right for opportunities to volunteer as a trip organizer or become an instructional clinic volunteer.
