subject 71.3 cfs as of 9:00 pm tonight...

That looks way off. At 8:30 pm the New Haven gauge was reporting 266 cfs. The Mad and the New Haven should be fairly similar, given where they were over the weekend. (According to the gauge, the Mad actually reached a higher flow.)
