I'm down to lead this trip. See this entry in the AW River Guide and this VPC trip report (one of 3—see this list).
The Saranac is already at a runnable (low) level of 4.7 feet after Monday's rain. With more rain coming on Thursday and Friday I think there is a good chance that it will be runnable on Saturday, although probably not above a medium low level. That said, it's a chance to run this beautiful stretch of river in late May, with fresh green foliage on the trees and relatively warm water.
So, who is interested? Please post a reply or email me at Chace.Rapid@Gmail.com.
PS: For an outline of the logistics (aside from the initial meet time) see the earlier post about the April 29 trip.
